This unique fixture clamps to the edge of a door. With only a plunge router, you can make mortises up to 11" long, 1-1/4" wide, and 2-1/2" deep.
Mortise width is determined by a combination of bit diameter and template guide diameter. Mortise length is determined by adjustable flipper stops.

- Mortise length is determined by adjustable flipper stops. Three sets of stops are provided so that the unit can be set for three different lengths of pockets. This works well for lock bodies that require stepped pockets.
- The clamp is preset for 1-3/8” and 1-3/4” thick doors
- A plunge router should be used so incremental cuts are made until the desired depth is achieved.
- Cannot be used with T-astragals applied to door.
